Cyanide plant started at Ford Salter mining properties
Ford reports the Cyanide plant began operations last Saturday with a 50 ton daily capacity and about 40 men employed. Operations will pause for winter but resume in spring with steady mining activity. Nearby Iron Spring and Rankin firms are building wagon road links and a Rankin mill to treat ores electrically, a potential game changer if successful.
