The Blue Jacket Mines progress in Seven Devils Idaho

The Blue Jacket property owned by Frank J. French and partners in Seven Devils shows substantial development since 1899. A 550 foot tunnel, 1000 tons of ore shipped in 1900, new boilers and pumps, a 20 ton reverberatory furnace under construction, and plans to ship more ore signal strong potential. The company has invested about 125000 dollars, employs 50 men, and controls eight other claims in the Snake river region while seeking efficient capital and legal clarity to unlock regional mineral wealth.

Broom Corn Profitable Crop Grows Here Without Irrigation

Broom corn has been grown in this vicinity without irrigation by N R Fleck and Harry Conley, yielding high quality samples. Illinois counties Douglas Coles Pratt Cumberland and Edgar supply most U S production. Annual output 20 000 to 25 000 tons with prices averaging 80 to 150 per ton. Uncertainty Over Poll Taxes in State Legislation
