Boston and Seven Devils Copper Company advances to steady production
The Boston and Seven Devils Copper Company has expanded its operations with significant mining and plant upgrades. A new 60 HP hoist and 300 gallon pump boost Peacock operations, a 420 foot tunnel and 175 foot shaft have been added, supported by about $400,000 spent in 30 months and plans to invest more to reach profitable output. The railway from Weiser to the district and a smelting plant at Council drive ongoing development and ore transport toward a 2,000 ton daily capacity.
