New Voting Precincts Created For Weiser Area

The Revised Statutes require split precincts when votes exceed 400. At the 1900 election the Weiser precincts exceeded this, so county commissioners formed East Weiser Middle Weiser and West Weiser. Descriptions detail the old precinct boundaries and the new division starting at Monroe creek, with precise lines through Monroe, Rock, and Mann creeks to the Snake and Weiser rivers. West Weiser runs from Monroe creek to Weiser river, while Middle Weiser No. 16 covers Watlington's area and extends along Second and Rahm streets to sections 31 32, Township 11 North Range 5 West, then south to complete the division.
