Dewey on the Thunder Mountain auriferous deposits in Idaho County Idaho describes rhyolite host rocks breccia and a dominant Golden Reef vein with rich surface ore near a phonolite dyke. It notes average mint prices 12 to 14 per ounce large iron pyrites and historic $100000 gold taken with primitive equipment.
A condensed tabulation shows the United States spent $99,808,928 on construction and $9,343,235 on repairs for completed vessels.
