Death of Col Dolman father of Carroll Dolman
Col Dolman aged about 71 died in Colorado Springs after two years of consumption. A native of Ohio he moved to Missouri at the outbreak of the Civil War where he raised and commanded a company. He fought in major battles, was captured at Shiloh and held at Libby prison. He later served as a state senator from Lincoln County and aided the Boake river bridge appropriation.
