Eurydice sails and court cases stir London notes
Early Friday reports from the East India House recount Eurydice’s Bengal voyage via the Cape and St. Helena with updates on the homeward fleet. Court of Directors sat at the India House as six directors took oaths, while duelling, yellow fever in Jamaica, and a murder sentence in Exeter drew strong commentary on the nation’s conduct.
