Laughton former Nevada lieutenant governor and later Washington lieutenant governor died in Tacoma Washington Friday night from heart failure brought on by kidney trouble dropsy and tape worm He was 49 a Bangor Maine native He served Nevada 1882 4 years and Washington 1889 3 years He had earlier moved from Nevada to Washington Territory and acted as governor for six months He leaves a widow and children.
