Congressman Bland at Rest in Lebanon Missouri

After lying in state for 24 hours the body of Richard Parks Bland was buried beside his daughter in the Catholic cemetery. Bunker Hill Anniversary Celebrated in Boston

The one hundred twenty third anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill was marked in Boston with a Charlestown centering demonstration. Marines and sailors from the North Atlantic squadron, arrived Friday, took part in parades and received ovations. Cadre commanded by Cal H. C Cochran and Captain C. J. Train led multiple Marine companies amid cheers, horns, and guns in the streets.
