Edith B Morton of Edwardsville sues for divorce from Walter Morton alleging marriage on October 27 1897 and cohabitation until April 2 this year. The complaint cites habitual drunkenness and excessive intoxicating liquor use by the husband for two years.
Probate records list inventories approved for August Tegtmeier and Christian Sponeman, with several final settlements and proofs of death. Guardianships, guardians bonds, executors, and appraisers are noted, including actions for Lena Federer and Eva Hagan, plus district drainage matters and insolvent estates.
