Chetwynd JCs Discuss Local Youth Plan and Charter Night

JCs meeting at the Chetwynd Hotel to discuss forming a local Junior Chamber of Commerce. A November 16 meeting aims to reach a 15 member minimum and possibly elect an executive with Charter Night scheduled for November 14.

Legion Remembrance Day Ceremonies Planned by Branch 258

Legion Branch 258 outlines Remembrance Day events on November 11 with a veterans parade leaving Hotel Square at 10 21 a m, services at Legion Hall led by Rev Phillip Schnarr enger and Rev Fr E Jungbluth O M I at 4 45 p m, followed by social hour and buffet supper. A late program includes dancing and a curling match at Dawson Creek with the Hart Hotel trophy to be contested by the Chetwynd Hotel rink led by Ken Wood Art Kensitt Marv Phillips and Roger Demmins.
