Police Court couples fines and a highway crash report
Magistrate Williams presided as Jom Napoleon of Moberly Lake and Harry Douglas Miller of Chetwynd were fined ten dollars plus costs for intoxication and no vehicle registration charges. John Kolesky of Bond Siding paid ten dollars and costs for an overweight load. Dennis Edward Guillet was fined fifty dollars for being a minor on licensed premises. Maurice B. Potvin of Chetwynd charged with no plates paid fifteen dollars and costs. Four men awaiting a morals hearing were remanded for two weeks. A 1956 Buick owned by Cecil A. Palmer of Vancouver and Hudson Hope was damaged after leaving the Hart Highway near East Pine. Gordon Devlin sustained only minor injuries. R.C.M.P. investigated and charges anticipated. exact cause undetermined.
