Four Men Face Morals Charges in Chetwynd
Four young Chetwynd men were arrested and charged under section 138(1) of the Criminal Code with offences against females under fourteen following a police investigation of an incident last Friday evening. They appeared before Magistrate Williams and were released on bail pending a preliminary hearing set for May 19. If evidence supports a trial, they would be arraigned in the County Court at Pouce Coupe.

The Village of Chetwynd has acquired 23 Crowned Owned lots north of Windrem School. Zoned A residential with no structures, the village plans sewer and water servicing, offers inclusion in purchase price, and requires construction guarantees before title. Sales begin May 19 at 8:00 a.m. at the Village Office on a first come basis.

Two Men Injured In Willow Flats Accident
Two Price-Poole workers were seriously injured at Willow Flats last Friday around 3 30 when a sideboom fell onto a cat. Clifford Hilme suffered a broken pelvis crushed ankle head lacerations and a hand injury while Jerry Tremblay sustained arm and chest injuries from a sledge hammer handle impact. Both received first aid from John Bagg and were taken to Dawson Creek hospital.
