Pilot Ira MacDonald Rescued After Fuel Leak
Ira MacDonald a Dawson Creek doctor and pilot in the Chetwynd area spent the night in the open after a fuel leak left him with insufficient fuel to return home. He used his plane radio for help and was flown out by Ken Powell of Fort St John. He had been delivering supplies to an isolated cabin and recorded sightings of nineteen wolves during a short flight.
