Attorneys for Calliope Judkins step-daughter of Vance Judkins filed a notice of appeal with the Ohio Supreme Court against a Fifth District ruling on her participation in her step grandparents estate. The appellate court affirmed that she cannot participate as a child of Vance under the wills but would be a beneficiary under a living trust at National City Bank of Cleveland.

Saturn 1B tests and Apollo plan outlined in NASA briefing
NASA described the Saturn 1B test flight with an 11 000 pound capsule to be recovered in the South Atlantic near Ascension Island. The goal is to study heat shield performance during re entry as well as propulsion and recovery techniques. NASA plans multiple Saturn 1B and Saturn 5 launches through 1967 and 1968 to develop manned lunar capability. Three astronauts are slated for the lunar mission with two descending to the surface and one remaining in lunar orbit.
