Edward K. Stipe 48, of 2465 Loucks Road York Pa pastor of Grace Lutheran Church Dover from 1965 to 1968 died Friday at home. He preached farewell sermon July 1 before resignation for ill health. Survived by widow Catherine and four children Joseph Thomas Jean Mary. Services Monday 2 pm at St Matthew’s Lutheran York officiated by three ministers. Friends may call Sunday 7 to 9 at Robe rt F Keller Funeral Home York.

United Brick and Clayworkers business agent William Klaserner says a policy committee will vote today on an offer presented at 1 30 am by nine companies. Ruling on Dover Woman Death Cites Alcoholism
Coroner Philip T. Doughten ruled acute alcoholism and exposure caused the death of Rosa Marcinko 43 of Dover in the early hours after she was pulled from Clendening Lake. Deputies and volunteers removed her with Marion Evans her companion after a shore fishing incident. Investigating deputies said the case remains open though not actively pursued.
