Pleasant Home Camp Meeting Lacked Countywide Hype
Pleasant Home camp meeting passed quietly with a smaller crowd than previous years. Editors from county papers were scarce, only one from West Salem attended, drawing private disappointment and calls for better support. The Garver reunion had weaker turnout, rain affected the Sunday School Picnic, and the upcoming Soldiers and Sailors reunion looms with Rev. Cadsel to preach. Rally Day set for September 29 aims to boost fall attendance, with the Ohio Sunday School Association offering a free Rally Day Program via Joseph Clark in Columbus.
