Electricity dangers in Zurich experiments by Professor Weber
Swiss scientist Professor Weber conducted experiments to define when electricity becomes lethal. He tested 30 and 60 volts on himself and found rapid paralysis and pain, with danger rising when the difference between two conductors exceeds 100 volts. He observed that dry bands and conditions affect outcomes and noted higher currents can be harmless if not reaching the body. He contrasted workers in bare feet or damp shoes with engineers shielded from ground, explaining deaths in workmen vs safety among trained professionals.
