Prosperous Year Report From Wooster University Trustees
The Executive Committee presents a yearly report from Wooster University noting better attendance, health, and discipline alongside growth in the Summer School enrollments and the enlarged Preparatory and Teachers Departments. New faculty, a revived Alumni Professorship drive, a new English instruction post, and a well-equipped Musical Department reflect broad progress and improved finances. The Synod funded debt repayment of 20 283 dollars from Judge James Robinson legacy, with seven thousand dollars donated by Dr J H Pratt. The year opened with a larger enrollment and hopes for greater endowment via subscriptions and church outreach. A standing committee plan for presbyteries and visitor-system proposals are discussed, with nominations for Board and Alumni positions.
