Barn Fire Destroys Houser's Farm Near Smithville
A large barn owned by John H. Houser three miles northeast of Smithville in Malton township burned Sunday morning at about eight. The blaze destroyed hay grain and farming implements valued near four thousand dollars, with small insurance. Police suspect tramp lodgers in the barn the night before caused the fire.
