The Century Club banquet occurred Monday night at the parlors of the First Presbyterian Church. Josephine Cook led songs with the Hoover Cottage Quartet, R N Warren presided, with recitations and songs by members including Whittier and Schubert pieces. A menu featured Consommé, Chicken Patties, salad, roasts, desserts, and beverages. attendees included Mary Hickok, Elizabeth Blackburn, and others. Flower arrangements came from the Agricultural Experiment Station.
Frank Sell aged about 45 years died last Wednesday morning from Brights disease after days of illness under the care of an alleged faith healer who resided at Birthvills. The Prosecuting Attorney ordered the healer to leave and that a physician be employed. Dr O M Hanna and A O Kneotrick counseled but too late, as the patient suffered acute trouble. It is believed timely medical care might have saved him.
Mrs Elizabeth Burkhardt aged 48 died at her East North Street home on Sunday May 28. The funeral was held Tuesday at the Mennonite church two miles east of Orrville with burial in the Mennonite cemetery. She is survived by two sons and two daughters. One son Martin has joined the 3d U S Infantry now in Manila.
A Wayne County man aged thirty nine was struck by a freight train on the Erie tracks in Akron, Ohio, and died instantly while walking along the railway in the morning. He resided in Rittman, Wayne County.
Mrs Elisabeth Hamilton wife of D R Hamilton of Plain Two died Monday May 20 at 2 30 am at the family home two miles southwest of Jefferson Funeral services will be at 9 30 am Wednesday at the residence and interment in Woostar cemetery
Probate Court proceedings before Judge McClarran list Alfred Hunalnger as administrator of Elisabeth Hunalnger estate with a 400 dollar bond. Final accounts and sales reports are recorded for multiple estates including B. M. McCauley, William Brinkarboff, and Elizabeth Gault with bonds and orders. sales of real and personal property approved. Applications include Daniel Asty seeking 350 dollars to repair a dwelling, granted.

Notable actions involve N L Royer to Albert Lilley for 84 acres in East Union, various warranty deeds in Ettino and Baughman townships, and multiple parcels in Milton Congress Shreve Wooster and Olive areas with amounts from 41.40 to 3,118.05.
Mrs H L Allen of 106 East South street died Thursday May 25 at 4 p m aged 30 years 8 months and 20 days She was a daughter of Ezra Beane and resided in the city Her husband and two children survive a baby who died soon after Inurnment followed from the residence at 1 30 Sunday with interment in Water cemetery
William Johnson of Sterling died instantly Saturday when struck while attempting to cross in front of a B and O train at about 11 a m. He was about seventy years old and the father of Mrs. William Beard who runs the sweating house at the Erie depot.

The March 25 Wooster University alumni banquet filled the Nicollet Hotel in Minneapolis with current and former students and teachers from Wooster University Wooster Ohio. Speakers included James A Robinson founder and Dr KR F Sample moderator of the general assembly. Attendees listed include M F Caldwell J G Cunningham W M Grafton L Carmen Bell J Kirkwood W R Kirkwood and many others with ties to Wooster University spanning classes from the 1860s to 1904. The event featured brief speeches and lively reminiscences as the alumni celebrated the institution's long history.
