State Poultry Exhibit Draws Crowds At Wooster Armory
The 2d annual State Poultry Exhibit ran January 17 to 22 in Wooster City Armory drawing exhibitors from across the state. The collection included many varieties and a tame pair of Sand Hill cranes owned by Charles Mc Clare of New London. Prizes were awarded to numerous breeders across Plymouth Rocks Wyandottes and Brahmas with 1467 fowls shown. Officers and committee members were named at the Saturday meeting with prizes totaling substantial cash offerings and cups for top birds.
