William J Miller Shoots Himself in Wooster Home

A Wooster man William J Miller about 50, despondent after job losses, shot himself Thursday morning at his father in law Alexander Laughlin’s Mulberry Street residence. He died about three hours later. He left a wife two sons and two daughters.

Sleigh Accident Injures Mrs Metsker in Easton Ride

On Saturday evening Rev E Metsker his wife and child rode to church at Easton when the sleigh broke and frightened the horses causing the sleigh to upset. Mrs Metsker broke her right leg between the ankle and knee. The other occupants escaped injury. Dr Grill treated her and reports she is doing as well as could be expected.

Sons Recovery Hopes for Local Injury Patient

The son of Mr. Henry Yocum near Congress is progressing well under Drs. Warner and Winkler with strong hopes for recovery. In Chester township a supper incident involved a boy asking for chicken with a leg. Mrs. J. W. Keller died Tuesday and was buried today. Mr. J. Paul, a Smithville merchant, died Wednesday at 11 am.
