Brilliant Triple Wedding at Wes ley Pears Farm

An unusual triple wedding occurred on December 28 near West Lebanon Ojo at the Wesley Pears farm. Three couples tied in the open air at noon with Rev. S B Mase Rev W G Sheeley and Rev Crewton officiating. About 150 guests attended a lavish banquet and numerous presents followed.

Farmer’s Institute Plans County Meeting in Wooster

L C Reicnenxpacn announces a county Farmer’s Institute session in Wooster at the County Clerk’s office on Saturday January 13 at 11 o’clock. The meeting will organize the institute for Wayne county, decide the convention site, select topics, assign roles, and name officers and committees. The event follows a February 21 and 22 gathering at Mansfield during the State Grange.

Local man killed in railroad accident near Waterloo

Joan H. Thomas and Gus Hem describe a fatal incident at the St Louis and Cairo line near Waterloo Illinois. A German miller named Hem was struck on the head by a steam chest from a locomotive and died instantly last Saturday evening while intoxicated.
