Driver and sister injured in crossing collision at Overton

Thomas Wasson and his sister Miss Kate Wasson of Wayne were struck by a Baltimore and Ohio engine at the Smyaser warehouse crossing in Overton while returning from church. The horse bolted about 100 feet, the buggy wrecked. Thomas was unconscious with internal injuries but no broken bones, and Miss Wasson was bruised but able to go home.

A Bullet Through His Head in Blachleyville

Wm Tyler of Plain Two, a 70 year old farmer, was shot dead at about 11 p.m. by an assailant in Blachleyville. His son slept through the incident. Tyler died almost instantly from a head wound. The funeral was held Wednesday with a large family including L. O. Tyler of Wooster North and Mrs Zane Funk of 8 Burial at Fairview cemetery.
