The M E festival planned for next Saturday night is indefinitely postponed. Measrs Snyder and McManter bought a new Advance thresher and blower from Harding Co Wooster. H M Harat, former teacher at No 2, called on friends that Tuesday.

A Midsummer Wedding Brings Winn and Fanck Together
On August 14 in Albany Oregon Mr C B Winn and Miss Cloe Fanck wed at the bride’s father Daniel Fanck home on W South street. The event featured pink and white decor, Lohengrin chorus, flower girls Estella Fonck Miriam Miller, maid of honor Elizabeth Davidson, best man Coyle Galion. The ceremony by Dr F Scorel used the ring service. The couple planned a bridal trip to Buffalo and eastern cities before settling west.

The firm of Myera and Song of Wooster secured the contract to build a new chapel on the university campus. Three other Wooster bidders were Ames and Winter Curry Lumber Co and Charles Denoke. Construction begins Saturday with completion aimed for January 15 1904. The stone chapel will seat 800 and allow future galleries.

Fractured Hip Threatens Elderly Hancock Resident
On August 14 Elizabeth Leitner of Hancock Street fell and fractured her hip. The 87 year old did not feel the fracture immediately and fears grow for a serious injury.

Directors of Experiment Station Meet in Columbus
The Ohio State Journal reports that the Board of Control of the Ohio Experiment Station met in Columbus on a Saturday in August. Members present included J. T. Robinson, L. M. Strong, R. A. Warder, and C. E. Thorne. Governor Nash was absent, routine business proceeded, and apportionment and bills were approved. The group anticipated recommending station improvements for the coming year, noting a poor water supply and plans for new buildings including a conservatory.

Rally Day Marks Sunday School Starts in Ohio
Sunday School units plan Rally Day on September 29 to kick off fall activities after summer. The Ohio Sunday School Association offers a free Rally Day Program with new music, about twenty minutes long, available to any school by contacting Joseph Clark, General Secretary, Columbus Ohio.
