Management of Airdome Changes at Dixie Theater

The Dixie theater will change management on Monday with Carl Dawnport in charge. Benjamin, weakened by ill health and other interests, has secured Davenport, a seasoned theatrical figure, to bring new and varied entertainments to Waycross. Waycross Delegates Return From Brunswick Drainage Congress

Waycross delegates report the Georgia Drainage Congress a success with robust attendance and active work toward a state drainage bill largely based on Senator Aiken's measure and North Carolina’s drainage laws. Governor-elect Hoke Smith delivered a strong speech praising the A. B. & A. Railroad and Mr. Leahy's work. The gathering adopted by laws, re elected officers for 1911, and planned a harbor steamer trip after adjournment.

Railroads Promote Waycross Aviation Meet in March Parade

Railroads entering Waycross promote the aviation meet and census celebration scheduled for March 9 to 11. Large circulars and invitations are sent along the Coast Line and A B A railroads to draw visitors within a 100 mile radius. Local auto club leaders Harrell and Buchanan plan support, with many enthusiasts expected to attempt time records for cups. Coffee county residents are anticipated to attend, and a traveling advertising corps will spread details across South Georgia. Daughters Of America Complete Organization in Savannah

The Daughters of America held its formation night at Red Men's Hall with Mrs J J Sundy and Mrs A P Goodwin assisting. Mrs J R Griffin of Barapiah acted as Deputy National Councilor. officers elected include Past Councilor Mrs Nettle Phillips, Councilor Mrs Jennie Goodwin, Treas Mrs Lauranda Sauls, Rec Secy Mrs Mattie Radford, and others, establishing the new Savannah council with strong local leadership.

Ware County Sunday School Association Opens Sessions

A large crowd attended the first session at 10 o'clock this morning at the Opera House, held with Central Baptists. Dr Hamill gave a noted address and McDonald spoke on temperance. The afternoon session starts at two with Rev. A M Bennett to speak. About thirty five delegates arrived and are being hosted in local homes. Public is invited to attend tonight and tomorrow.

A B and A Officials On Inspection Tour

Mr W H Leahy is in the city as A B and A officials inspect their harbor steamer used in carrying delegates. Rumor says the road is planning improvements and Aldrich may be involved. Mr Goodyear displayed a five year old Ham ptonian stallion and a registered Jersey bull four years old. He raised both animals and praised their beauty. The note urges local interest in fine stock and calls for support to improve regional livestock.
