Rev Bob Jones preached on The Judgment to a large attentive congregation at First Methodist Church. The revival is described as far reaching with expected benefits for all city churches. Tonight's service continues and tomorrow only a women’s service starts at 10 o clock.
Fruit in Griffin Georgia suffered serious injury from three days of freezes. Full blown fruit was killed and only unopened buds survived as growers report losses across the section.
The Ware County Sunday School Association prepares for its 24th annual convention at the Opera House starting Saturday morning at 10. The program features Dr. H. M. Hamill and Mrs. Almena P. A large steamer believed to be a trans Atlantic liner ran ashore near the Blelly Islands in Sicily. The funnel and masts are reported gone, and lifeboats have been sent to assist the vessel.
