Endowment Drive Supports Upper Iowa University
Fayette bankers back the endowment campaign for Upper Iowa University. Dr. J W Dickman said a 306000 fundraising goal by June 1930 would guarantee the college’s operation at a high standard despite loss of Methodist support. O W Stevenson noted the state court holds power over the college’s holdings, not the church. The release urges continued nonsectarian operation and opposes church antagonism.
