Westminster Presbyterian plans new combined church building
Westminster Presbyterian Church moves toward a modern apartment church by authorizing the building committee to draft cost estimates and financing plans. The step followed a Black’s Tearoom dinner conference chaired by Dr Laurence P Beott with H H Caughlan and Robert Warner presenting tentative plans. The project would occupy the church site on Fourth Street near Wellington and possibly extra ground from a former parsonage. Twenty three attendees, including session and trustees, attended.
