The Autumn Fashion Exhibit highlights silk undergarments and undermuslins, knit underwear, petticoats, negligees, corsets, and infants wear. It spotlights silks from fashion centers, rich velvets, and new fall woolens with patterns and draping favored by well groomed wardrobes.
Fringes and tassels remain in demand with beads buttons and braids also popular. Fringes trim dresses tunics collars capes and sash ends in widths from 1 in to 61440. A large assortment of buttons in various sizes including pearl and imitation ivory is shown. Buckles for girdles belts and hats will be worn this fall on the main floor.
Delightfully new neck fixings to fit with fall modes in organdie satin sateen vests and filet sets with new pleating mchings and low collars. Main Floor offers smart kid gloves with wrinkles for the season, stocks complete and moving fast.
A Wednesday exhibition features a broad display of fall women’s wear with bold panel pockets and panel trims. Highlights include auton suit styles in silvertone and duvetyon fabrics, fur and exotic trims, and elegant day and street dresses in charmeuse georgette serge and satin.
A seasonal feature highlights apparel and accessories for infants and toddlers in a special section on the second floor. The piece promises graceful outfits and charming creations aimed at mothers seeking suitable clothing for their little ones during autumn.
In the new fall blouses crepe Georgette dominates the fabric. Navy blue appears in sub blouses with touches of high color. Combinations include navy with French blue and accents of scarlet sunset amber taupe and light shades like white flesh maize bisque and pale blues. Second floor.

It highlights collars, capes, muffs, stoles, scarves, coats and coatees, urging early purchase to beat rising future prices.
