Fireworks and Acrobats Highlight War of Nations Show
A first night crowd at the baseball park saw a grand display of fireworks and acrobatics amid a military stage, with weather keeping some away. If rain holds, the show continues tonight and Wednesday, possibly Thursday. Red Cross nurses tend the wounded as simulated combat, bombardment, and city destruction unfold. A flag tableau and patriotic symbols end the spectacle, with President Wilson likenesses and a large American flag featured.
