Arbuckle Scandal Backed by Former Berchel Manager
Des Moines reports quote George Watters, ex Berchel manager, claiming Roscoe Arbuckle led a string of excesses tied to early film industry. He describes a costly car far cheaper in reality, a San Francisco Palace hotel party, and a hotel room incident with Miss Rappe who Watters says was guiltless. He also references the Sunset Inn ritual and drug parties among old time actors. Olga Mishka advertisement noted.
