Temperate Zone Weather Went North for Summer
Washington D C Sept 12 A period of heat and shifting weather belts grips the world with warmer than usual conditions in Alaska and eastern United States while Canada and Europe also feel heat waves. A northward shift of high and low pressure belts explains the abnormal summer with disrupted storms and unusually widespread drought in some regions. Scientists await broader data to fully untangle the causes of this climate shift.
