Four months of open season on wa muskrats
Des Moines reports Iowa legislature authorized an open season on muskrats from November 15 to March 15 with exceptions near meandered water. Prohibited river segments include Nishnabotna R, Raccoon R, Des Moines R, Cedar R, Red Cedar R, town and Skunk rivers, Maquoketa R, and Wapsipinicon and Turkey rivers with detailed section references in several counties.
