Iowa Motor Vehicle Registrations Jump Ahead of 1928 Totals
Des Moines reports by Oct 1 that Iowa registrations show about 25 000 more automobiles and 5 000 more trucks than the full year 1928, with four counties over 20 000 autos led by Polk at 42 340. Officials anticipate totals near 800 000 as registrations close September 30.
