Judge Platt Rules Against Waiver of Time in Divorce Case
Judge Platt warns that a waiver of time in a divorce suit signals collusion and should be upheld only in strict cases. He cites the Webster case where the doctor’s waiver was deemed improper and says rulings would likely be supported by the supreme court. Public sentiment grows against easy divorces as legal separations rise in petitions. Also mentions Foley’s Honey and Tar Compound testimonial from Mrs. Adams of Columbus, Kan.
