Jugoslavian note seeks border guarantees after Bulgarian attacks
Belgrade reports Yugoslavia prepared a note to Bulgaria demanding guarantees for the future and satisfaction for past attacks by Macedonian irregulars after the assassination of Brig. Gen. Kovachevitch in Istip. Two suspects were captured as martial law was proclaimed in border districts. Gen Kovachevitch, a noted strategist, led a legionnaire troop in World War I and once commanded the Twenty first Infantry at Skoplje.
