Denniston Wins Crowd as Board Reserves Ruling
A courtroom crowd awaits the board’s decision in the city case against Frank Denniston, a suspended patrolman. City attorney Carleton Sias seeks a brief with supreme court citations. Denniston’s defense boss Swisher predicts timing for briefs and replies. Three witnesses testified, including Denniston, Forker, and Mason, with Denniston denying involvement in a raid near Aug 24. Swisher portrays the suspension as improper, urging due process while Sias defends disciplinary rules. The board plans to announce a verdict later next week.
