Trike clash at La Plata raises political tensions and a student death
In La Plata, Argentina, a university strike led to police intervention and the hoisting of a red flag. A fatal shooting occurred in a medicine college exam hall as strikers clashed with orderly students. Police arrested about 130, and revolvers were seized amid a broader political battle involving Governor Grotto and pro administration editors.
