Bank Robbery Suspect Confesses Motive School Tuition
Stewart Ritchie, 21, robbed Ellis Bank in Grand Rapids for 903 dollars to fund chiropractic school studies at Palmer. Police traced him via bank deposits, suitcase loot, and links to Davenport where Grand Rapids officers aided in arrest. Ritchie admitted the crime claiming only enough for tuition and books.
