Street Lighting Bid Keeps City to Seven Thousand

At a city council meeting last night Sweetman Electric Shop won the contract for installation of 75 street lamps for the boulevard extension, at a low bid of 7000. Bids ranged to 9243.76 from Black Hawk Electric. Costs will be assessed to adjacent properties except lamps on Fifth street bridge borne by the city.
