Business Revival Positive in West Says Allen Head

Allen H. Head, general manager of the Waterloo Gasoline Engine Co., reports a gradual but positive revival in western business after a month’s tour through Kansas, Oklahoma, California, and the Southwest. He notes good crops in Kansas, limited California fruit returns, and strong future potential when farmers work the land and utilize water resources. California’s high tractor use and year round service emerged as a key advantage. He emphasizes opportunities for farmers, beyond tourism, to develop and profit from available land and markets.
