Notice of Water loo Iowa street improvement hearing July 1911
Notice is hereby given that the city council of Waterloo Iowa will consider a proposed resolution of necessity at a meeting July 10 1911 at 7 30 p m in the council chamber city hall. It orders grading curbing guttering and paving Sixth street and related streets and intersections on the west side of the Cedar river and along Mullan Locust Home Park and Bluff streets with brick block paving and concrete base details and widths with concrete curb where not existing after twenty days notice.

City to pave streets with asphalt and cement base
The city plans to reset curb lines and construct new gutters along streets with five inch Portland cement concrete base and one and one half inch asphalt wearing surface. A five year guarantee and bond of not less than one dollar per yard are required. Costs will be assessed against property owners proportionate to benefits, with adjustments for street and alley intersections. The council may change pavement width. Dated June 17, 1911. J. R.
