Woman admits shooting in Des Moines murder case
Centerville Iowa June 18 Carmela Russo 38 told in jail of the shooting that killed Tony Matto in Des Moines after years of threats and insults. She described Matto pressuring her to run away and threatening to kill her and her father, leading to a single shot and a pursuit ending with his death. Jury to hear a mysterious letter allegedly written by Matto as part of the case.
