La Follette Feeler for Third Party Hinted
Des Moines dispatch reports Senator Bob La Follette stating that the Coolidge administration has turned its back on farmers, a move seen as a test for third party sentiment. Analysts say he aims to mobilize progressive elements from both parties, though officials doubt a new party forms. He may instead align with Republicans while pushing needed agricultural relief measures.
