Firestone sales surge with big six month rise
Sales for the first six months of the fiscal year from November 1 to April 30 reached 60,486,848.04, up 79 percent from 33,978,448.79 a year earlier. Auto and truck manufacturers fitted 37 percent of 1919 output with Firestone tires. From November 1 to June 1, 7,621 new dealers joined the Firestone Service Organization as sales climb. The user credits a broad promotion drive urging friends to “buy Firestones.”
