Gypsies Run From Northwood After Theft Plague

In Northwood Iowa on Saturday a traveling Gypsy group looted townsfolk, escaping after a grand theft spree. A young girl was identified, fined 100 dollars and costs, with 39.50 later paid to release her. others fled town after brief jail stay. Also, 15 year old Clarence Hunt was fatally struck by a Northwestern train at Ogden while riding baggage.

Wife Murderer at Marion Given Life Prison Term

Father and Son Drown Near Jamaica in Coan River

Clarence Kinney, a well known Jamaica resident, and his 15 year old son John Kinney drowned in the Coan river back of the Sibert farm northwest of Dawson in July. The incident occurred while they were fishing. Emergency crews recovered the bodies later that day.
