Five New Diving Boards At Beach
Carpenters are building a five-board diving dock to be placed beside Cedar River park municipal bathing beach. Four three-foot boards and one six-foot board will be anchored near the high board dock, replacing the single low-board dock which moves to the island edge. The high-board dock has two 10-foot boards and a 20-foot board, heights seen as dangerous for many swimmers. The new dock will sit in about five feet of water and allow more youths to enjoy diving facilities.
