Patriotic Meeting Formed at Cedar Heights 1918 Plan
At Mayor William Galloway's Cedar Heights home last evening a patriotic program for 1918 was outlined. The Cedar Heights Community Club and Woman's Club organized a coalition cabinet to promote monthly patriotic meetings in every school district, with Red Cross and war work reports. Sixty members attended, with talks by Parrott, Mu Gutcheon, Birney Allen, Macy Campbell, Mayor Galloway, Golly, Mrs. King, and Burhans. The group urged continuing existing organizations to support war efforts and training children in patriotism, calling for monthly sessions at each school.
